Devil Takes the Hindmost is also called the “Miss and Out,” and is apparently a pretty popular race on the track. They do it at the Northbrook Velodrome almost weekly from what I hear. Guess I’ll see when I go do my first races there this week, weather permitting! http://www.northbrookvelodrome.org/racing-terms has the definitions of the different types of races.

Dear Tiny Fix,
Thanks once again for supporting bike polo. I have a question for you. How much do you think our Garfield Park location effects the club’s ability to recruit new players? I ask because we’re planning a partnership with the park district and a second court at Garfield may be in our near future, but before we commit, we have to weigh that against our desire to get permission to play at different park (TBD but we’ve looked into Sheridan Park) that is more accommodating food establishment and bathroom-wise.
